Meet your God Building a personal relationship with God We believe that the goal of our spiritual journey is a vibrant and growing relationship with God Himself through Jesus Christ. Knowing about God is just the beginning. We are committed, to helping all people, whether they are just beginning their search for God or having enjoyed Him already for years, to develop that relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Expressing sincere worship to God, alone and with others. We strive to worship God in sincere, energetic, and expressive devotion. We seek to lead all who attend our church to worship together, thanking God for His great love and faithfulness. Knowing God better through the Bible We are confident that God has revealed Himself to us through the words of the Bible. Therefore, we are exclusively committed to its teaching. All other teaching, choices, decisions, and opinion must submit to the Bible. Through learning its contents and applying its principles people can grow in their knowledge of God and progress along their spiritual pilgrimage. Drawing near to God in prayer We teach that prayer is an invaluable part of meeting with God. As with any relationship, time spent with Him in prayer deepens and expands the friendship. Through prayer we seek God for guidance, provision, deliverance, and protection. So we urge private prayer and offer frequent opportunities to pray as a group. Find your belonging Nurturing friendships through healthy small groups. We value building genuine relationships. It is in the context of friendship that we challenge one another on toward a life worth living. Because belonging is important to us, we encourage every believer to find a caring group of others where they can live life together in Jesus. Developing each persons unique gifts and abilities to serve others We believe God has given every follower of Jesus certain special abilities and passions to serve God in the church and community. We do everything we can to help people discover their abilities and use them for Him. Sometimes that looks like volunteering at town events, or collecting supplies for the local schools, or teaching Bible stories to children. Whatever your ability, whatever your love, there are meaningful opportunities for service at Life Song. Sharing your experience of God with others doesn't mean fancy rituals and pious talk. It means speaking God's truth in today's language and singing his music in a modem style. It means dressing comfortably and being yourself. Our worship and our friendships reflect this. Reach your world Planting new churches in other communities. Life Song was started by a reproducing church to be a reproducing church. We will, as God allows, be involved in beginning other new congregations to represent the Good News of Jesus. This may include new locales or perhaps even other parts of our own city. New churches will probably include both campus-based and house-based worship. It may be the beginning of new ethnic or multi-ethnic works. Life Song wilt not be the last link in the chain of faithful believers and faith-filled churches. Cooperating financially for worldwide Christian outreach We are committed to assisting those who share our mission wherever they serve. We will regularly contribute resources to other ministries in our community, across our state and country, and around the world.

Building a personal relationship with God

We believe that the goal of our spiritual journey is a vibrant and growing relationship with God Himself through Jesus Christ. Knowing about God is just the beginning. We are committed, to helping all people, whether they are just beginning their search for God or having enjoyed Him already for years, to develop that relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

We strive to worship God in sincere, energetic, and expressive devotion. We seek to lead all who attend our church to worship together, thanking God for His great love and faithfulness.

We are confident that God has revealed Himself to us through the words of the Bible. Therefore, we are exclusively committed to its teaching. All other teaching, choices, decisions, and opinion must submit to the Bible.
